On Sunday August 1st Horse won a prestigeous cup!
Dancing with master Philip Bassendale, and with Squire Jack Worth on melodeon in the
Sidmouth John Gasson Double Jig
Competition, Horse and Phil won the cup for the dance with Greatest Audience Appeal. They danced the Bledington version of
"Jockey to the Fair" (Horse's favourite apart from "Donkey Serenade") as a double jig. The course for the jig involved four jumps which Horse
sailed over with no faults.

Dorset for 18-28 year olds -
Anonymous Morris.
Will start with a free workshop on Thurs. Sept. 16 7:30-9:30 at Old Town First School,
Green Road, Poole, BH15 1QB (venue for our practice sessions after that date). Free car parking on the school playground;
anyone in the 18-28 age range is welcome to come
along and learn a Border morris dance. (We'll accept musicians in a wider age range)
